Arkansas State University’s Small Business and Technology Development Center (SBTDC), the Batesville Area Chamber of Commerce and Mainstreet Batesville are combining forces to offer the “Inbox Impact: Professional E-mail Marketing Tools” workshop in Batesville, Thursday, May 24, from 1-4 p.m. at the Batesville Chamber of Commerce, 409 Vine Street.

Herb Lawrence, ASU SBTDC center director, will conduct the workshop.

“E-mail marketing is an amazingly cost-effective way to build relationships that drive business success,” said Lawrence. “In today’s challenging economic times this cost advantage makes e-mail marketing a very powerful tool for building any business or organization. But, like anything else it has to be done the right way.”

In this three-hour seminar, Lawrence will discuss how to effectively develop a professional e-mail marketing campaign that allows businesses to target the customers, get e-mails opened, grow a subscriber list and use Constant Contact software to create professional-looking e-mail campaigns that will have the most impact on the customer’s Inbox.

No technical expertise is needed. Seating is limited to 15 attendees.

Registration is $35 per person ($25 for Chamber of Commerce and Mainstreet Batesville members). For more information or to register, contact the Batesville Area Chamber of Commerce administrative assistant, Mandi Curtwright at (870) 793-2378 or e-mail officemanager@mybatesville.org.
