Eighty-four percent of mobile phone users use their devices to look for information about local businesses and organizations. Today’s consumers use mobile search in almost every area of their lives. Many of them use mobile phones to locate information on prices as well, even if they plan to make the actual purchase offline at a store.

The challenge for area small businesses is to make sure that their online marketing efforts are mobile friendly. In this workshop, the instructor, Steven Trotter with Pleth, LLC, will discuss what mobile marketing means, how to make sure websites more mobile friendly, how businesses use applications and much more.

The seminar is co-sponsored by Black River Technical College, Paragould Chamber of Commerce and ASU Small Business and Technology Development Center.
