ASU SBTDC to host Facebook Timelines for Pages workshop in Batesville March 21

The Arkansas State University Small Business and Technology Development Center (SBTDC), along with the Batesville Area Chamber of Commerce and Mainstreet Batesville, will offer Facebook Timelines for Pages workshop Wednesday, March 21, from 1-4 p.m. at the Batesville Area Chamber of Commerce, 409 Vine Street in Batesville.

The Arkansas State University Small Business and Technology Development Center (SBTDC), along with the Batesville Area Chamber of Commerce and Mainstreet Batesville, will offer “Facebook Timelines for Pages” workshopWednesday, March 21, from 1-4 p.m. at the Batesville Area Chamber of Commerce, 409 Vine Street in Batesville.

“The new Facebook pages design with timeline has arrived. Regardless of whether we like it or not, the changes are coming,” said Herb Lawrence, center director for the ASU SBTDC. “It is best to prepare for them as soon as possible so your timeline will be ready to shine. On March 30, your Facebook page will convert to timelines.”

Attendees will learn about the new Facebook pages, including using the preview, timeline cover rules, how updates have changed, administration panel features, messages, featuring posts, and what will happen to custom content on your page’s tabs, continued Lawrence.

Registration is $35 per person ($25 Batesville Area Chamber and Mainstreet Batesville members).
