The A-State Faculty Difference
A-State and the College of Business is still a place I can come back to… I see (faculty) in public, they're still friendly, they still remember who I am. That’s something special. Not every university you’re going to be able to see faculty and they still remember you.
Online That Feels Like On-Campus
A-State Online Benefits
A-State Online gives you more than just flexibility. You’ll earn your degree on your schedule without missing out on what makes A-State special. As an online student, you’ll still get:
- Courses taught by the same expert faculty as on campus
- Real connections with classmates and professors who are here to support you
- Full access to campus resources, whether you’re nearby or far away
If you're local, you can use on-campus facilities like the library, counseling center, fitness and recreation spaces, and even attend Red Wolves game days. If you’re studying from a distance, many of these services are also available virtually. So you stay connected, supported, and part of the Pack.

The support I received was top-notch. The first time I sent an email to a professor and got a response back within the time frame they said they would reply, that just made me feel comfortable.Graduate Online Programs

The Graduate School offers travel assistance up to $700 for academic presentations and creative works to peer-reviewed scholarly venues. Students must submit an application, forward the letter or email confirming acceptance, and provide the names of their program coordinator and department administrative assistant to Dr. Brad Rawlins, brawlins@astate.edu.
Assistance is awarded on a first come basis until funds are no longer available, and may be used only for conference fees, lodging, and travel (not meals or personal car mileage). Successful applications should also include a contribution from the department or college, demonstrating shared support for the activity.
After travel is completed, the student or department should submit a travel report to the Graduate School. Once approved, funds will be transferred back to the department.
