At Arkansas State University, we guide you step-by-step through the process, from
submitting your application to receiving your admission decision. Whether you’re a
working professional, international scholar, or recent graduate, we’ll help you take
your next step with confidence.
How to Apply
When you apply to A-State, you’re not just starting an application; you’re beginning
a conversation. Our admissions and enrollment teams are ready to walk you through
everything from transcripts to test scores to funding options.

Submit Your Application
Step 1
Start by completing the application. Make sure to check your program’s specific deadlines and additional materials. Use the right path to avoid delays and make sure you're supported every step of the way.

Program-Level Review
Step 2
Once all required documents are submitted, your academic program’s admissions committee
will review your application. They evaluate how your background, goals, and qualifications
align with the program.

Graduate School Decision
Step 3
After the academic program makes its decision, Graduate Admissions completes a final
review. You’ll receive an official Notice of Admission Decision via email unless notified
directly by the department.

Admission & Advising
Step 4
Once admitted, you'll be assigned a graduate advisor to help you plan your course
schedule and prepare for registration. Your A-State journey begins here, with world-class
faculty and a community that knows your name.
