The Kathrine Overstreet Logan (KOL) Mathematics Learning Commons provides tutoring
services in all levels of mathematics. The KOL is available for all registered A-State
students, traditional & online.

How Does Scheduling Work?
In-person tutoring is available by appointment or drop-in, but online tutoring must be scheduled at least 24 hours in advance.
Appointments for subjects listed must be scheduled through Penji, and are on a first come-first serve basis. For courses that are not listed, there may be drop-in tutoring for them if a tutor is available. Additional appointment times may also become available as need arises.

How to Schedule an Appointment
- Download the Penji App on your phone, or use the website on your computer.
- Sign in using your A-State email and password.
- From the menu on the left side of the screen, choose Learn.
- Select KOL Math Commons as the tutoring center.
- Choose from a 15, 30, or 60-minute session.
- Choose your class. It'll be listed in the letter-number combination, but if you don't know your class', you can always look it up in your syllabus.
- Pick a date and time. Just click the open slot most convenient to you!
- Pick a tutor. All our tutors are well-trained and ready to work with you, so there's no bad choice.
- Pick a location. You can either have your meeting in the KOL Learning Commons or online using WebEx.
- Create an agenda. List what section(s) and/or topic(s) you wish to work on, and select any materials you may be using for the session.
- Review and confirm. The upcoming session details will appear in your activity feed.
