At A-State, the College of Nursing & Health Professions prepares students to go into their communities and help people. Whether you want to help athletes recover from serious injuries, analyze samples to help diagnose, or show a family their first ultrasound, there are many ways to do that. We'll prepare you for emotionally rewarding careers where you make a difference in people's lives every day.

Dr. Walz holds multiple awards from the ASCLS and has extensive experience in hematology/coagulation, immunohematology, and laboratory management. She serves on the ASCLS national committee on patient safety and has research interests in clinical laboratories' influence on patient safety initiatives and lab testing quality.

From sustaining to preventing injuries, you'll be able to help athletes with specialize care to promote their recovery and prevent the next one.
