At the Testing Center, we support student success by providing secure testing services
to the A-State and regional community for academic placement and nationally recognized
certifications.
Where are we?
Located on the third floor of the Reng Student Union, the center serves both the campus and the surrounding community with nationally recognized standards for test administration.

Our Services
The Testing Center at Arkansas State University administers a wide range of computer-based
standardized exams for students, professionals, and the community. Most tests are
offered year-round, except during university holidays and campus conflicts. For a

CLEP exams help students earn college credit for knowledge they already possess. These
computer-based exams are administered in the Testing Center, and available by appointment. Students may choose from 33 subject exams in areas such as history, literature, science, mathematics, and foreign languages.

ACCUPLACER is a comprehensive battery of tests to provide information about a students'
English, reading, and mathematics skills and is used for placement into initial classes
at Arkansas State University–Jonesboro. The test is administered on computer in the
Testing Center. Your official score report will be forwarded to the Admissions Office. We cannot send a score report to another institution.
