Applications for the Freshman to Physician Pathway open this fall for students entering A-State in 2025 and beyond.

Admission to the Pathway

Students who meet these requirements are exempt from the MCAT, streamlining their path to medical school and reducing both cost and complexity.

Admission to the Pathway

Admission to the Pathway Program is selective and open to Arkansas residents who meet high academic standards, including an SAT of 1100 or ACT of 26, a high school GPA in the top 10%, and a successful admissions interview.

Admission to NYITCOM

Admission to NYITCOM at A-State requires students to maintain a 3.5 GPA in both science and overall coursework (with a one-time semester waiver), complete all pre-med prerequisites, earn a positive recommendation from A-State’s premedical committee, and pass an admissions interview with NYITCOM faculty.
