Frequently Asked Questions

We recommend applying for the semester before you plan to start. You can transfer for Fall, Spring, or Summer. A-State Online has accelerated starts (6 starts per year, two per Fall, Spring, and Summer) for most undergraduate programs.
You can send transcripts electronically through approved services. Make sure all previous institutions send official transcripts directly to A-State.
After your advisor contacts you, they’ll provide your CRN numbers. Log in to Pack Portal click Self-Service Banner, then Registration, and enter your CRNs.
Your assigned advisor will reach out via email with your next steps, registration information, and contact details.
No. If you choose to pursue your degree 100% online, you are still part of the main campus at A-State! While there are dedicated teams for online students to assist with your application, tuition, and academic advising, your degree is the same as if you attended on-campus.
